The L.I.S. Advanced Certificate may be completed by program participants during or after their completion of the M.S.L.I.S. program.
The Advanced Certificate in L.I.S. is designed for information professionals who wish to gain new skills for libraries in the digital world, from digital libraries and services to digital information design, social media, and policy.
This 30-credit program consists of eight 3-credit courses and 6 credits of independent research on a topic selected by the student, for which the student writes a paper supervised by School of Information faculty.
